Outdoor competition season is just heating up! Are you curious if your dog is a dock diver in the making? Here is your opportunity to try to get your dog’s “paws in” to the sport of dock diving!
Each dog’s session will be 15 minutes in length. Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your allotted time. Your session may run a few minutes over, as the session before yours may, depending on each dog’s progress. Please be patient, flexible and respectful of others. You are welcome to watch other dogs’ sessions while your dog is safely away in either a crate or in your car. You may leave your dog in your car to come check in, and complete your paperwork. Do not enter the building with your dog unless you are instructed to do so by staff.

Please bring a PRINTED copy of your dog’s proof vaccinations (Rabies, Kennel Cough and Parvo) for us to keep on file. Dogs will not be permitted in the building without these vaccinations. Your class fee WILL NOT be refunded in the case of unvaccinated dogs.
This is a one-time event for NEW dogs to the sport only. If you have a dog already jumping, and you are looking for some additional coaching, please see our website for classes or book a private lesson with us. DDA staff will advise what the next steps would be for your team near the conclusion of your try-it time slot.
Dogs must be at least 6 months old, have had some swimming experience and MUST have toy drive.
We use positive reinforcement methods only. No choke, prong, or e-collars are permitted; and absolutely NO pushing, pulling or forceful motions to get dogs into the water. We use the swim and toys as rewards, so please, leave food rewards or treats in the car until your session has concluded.

Again, please do not arrive more than five minutes before your scheduled time slot, and please do not enter the building until you are waved in by our staff. Please be sure to bring PRINTED copies of your dog’s vaccination records.
